“Obeying God”
Acts 5:17-42
Memory Verse: “And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” – Acts 5:42
Big Idea: Nothing or no one could keep the Apostles from fulfilling their mission of preaching the Gospel of Jesus. A prison couldn’t contain them, threats of punishment couldn’t stop them, and a beating only emboldened them. If the miraculous signs and wonders weren’t enough to attest to their obedience to God, the longevity and fruit of their message certainly did.
