Acts 8:26-40
Memory Verse: Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. (Acts 8:35)
The Process of Personal Evangelism
- Listen to the Spirit
The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” (Acts 8:29)
- Wait for the invitation
Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. 31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. (Acts 8:30-31)
- Start with their questions
The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” (Acts 8:34)
- Speak from Scripture
Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. (Acts 8:35)
- Point them to Jesus
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. (Luke 24:27)

- Who can you be praying for that God would prepare their hearts and give you an opportunity to share Jesus with them?
